Seating Assignments
Classroom tables and seating might be reconfigured on a regular basis to fit different activities. Front seat status is not crucial in the classroom since students will be able to follow most of the presentations on their iPads.
If you feel that your child has a vision or hearing condition that makes it necessary for him or her to be close to the front of the class, please send me a doctor's note indicating this so that I may accommodate your child.
If your child has an up-to-date Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) that states the need for your child to be seated in the front of the class, please provide a copy of the IEP to me so that I can better accommodate your child.
Special Needs
If your child has an up-to-date Individualized Educational Plan (IEP), please provide a copy for my files so that I can provide your child the required accommodations. Because of confidentiality regulations, the only way for me to know that your child has an IEP is if you provide me with a copy of it. You may email me a copy of your child's IEP, drop a copy on my mailbox, or ask Sister to share a copy with me.
Students will have all class period to complete quizzes and tests. If your child needs extra time to complete classroom assessments, he or she will be sent to the office as not to be disturbed by class changes. If your child feels comfortable using only the whole class period provided to all the students, then he or she may take all the quizzes and tests in the classroom.
If your child has any medical conditions that you feel I should be aware of, please send me an email so that I can keep it on my file.
